Breaking news: generator fire at St. Louis Gateway Arch

ST. LOUIS (AP) – Some visitors were evacuated Thursday at the Gateway Arch in St. Louis as firefighters battled a noontime blaze at a transformer on the Arch grounds.

Thick black smoke could be seen downtown from the fire. No injuries were reported.
