I think it obvious there will lots of fatalities.
I’ve seen time-lapse videos from China in which they built hospitals, to treat corona virus patients, in a week. I wouldn’t want to stay in a building like that. I’m not surprised a Chinese building fell down.
The buildings I saw were basically tents on poured concrete.
There wasn’t an earthquake in the area, was there? That part, I haven’t heard, but I bet that building didn’t meet any kind of modern building codes. 
Yeah, and that’ll be good for Xi. He can blame those deaths on the collapse, not the virus.
Do they still call it Quarantine when you’re buried under tons of rubble?
I expect there were modern building codes in place–but that the owners or builders paid off corrupt building inspectors to ignore them.
Or just didn’t bother to have them inspected.
