How about John Denver? (Calypso is very breazy)

Good idea! While you’re doing that be sure to listen to Let Your Love Go.

Anything by Seals & Crofts, especially “Summer Breeze”

aaaaaahhhhhhh…good times…I have Chevy Van on a mix CD in the car…
ETA: Dammit..he died this year… Sammy Johns - Wikipedia

Forgive me if I missed it, but no has yet mentioned George Bensons “Breezin’”

Can’t get much breezier than that, methinks.

This song has some of the strangest lyrics I’ve ever heard. It’s like “Maggie May” meets “Killing an Arab.”

Dobie Gray - Drift Away
By the by; I once ordered a seven-CD set from a television commercial in a drunken stupor in the middle of the night. In the morning, I thought, oh, what have I done! It arrived, and it is awesome. It’s called “Seventies AM Gold” and has many of the songs mentioned in this thread.

We’ve had earlier threads on Al Stewart here on the boards; suffice to say that his lyrics tend towards the cerebral and obscure.

In that case I submit Sugar Town by Nancy Sinatra, from '67. It’s an airy little tune.

Dirty Low Down, Boz Skaggs
