Because the discussion would be approximately as fruitful as past race/IQ debates. i.e. not at all. Fruitful discussions of race/IQ start off with a discussion of mean and variance. Also statistical variants of the same. That doesn’t happen here: instead we get veiled and bigoted bad faith nonsense. It pisses me off.

This has gotta be a letdown for the Brickster. Can’t even keep his own Pit thread, without somebody else grabbing the spotlight. No fair! as we used to say when things were simpler.

Also reminded of hearing an interview with Samuel L. Jackson, about his days with an all black theatre troupe back in The Day. He called it something like the Scare Whitey Theater Company. Went with Ex1 to a local version. As we left, I said it was preaching to the choir, but the choir has to pay to get in. It wasn’t funny. I have that certified, not funny.
