Brief cartoon scene identification - pursuit while behind drum set

So I finally saw Whiplash last night, and all that drumming reminded me of a brief animated scene involving someone drumming on a drum set, while chasing someone else. It’s in a mock-1970s-cheap-animation (and maybe psychedelic) style, I think, with the drummer and equipment jumping forward every few seconds. Maybe something from Family Guy?
