I have some Bloc Party, couldn’t get into Unkle, and love Ladytron and The Kills.
Primal Scream are quite well-known here; usually mentioned in the same breath with Charlatans and Stone Roses. (I like all three bands.)
Travis are best known here for their cover of Britney Spears’ “Hit Me Baby One More Time,” a state of affairs I imagine they have mixed feelings about.
The others I will check out.
Oh, and whoever said AC Marias—that seems like a real find; the challenge will be laying my hands on the actual music (other than on YouTube). I guess I could check iTunes…
