That’s probably a ‘Lord of the Manor’ - which doesn’t really mean anything, and doesn’t entitle you to call yourself Lord anything (or at least you would be though unbearably pretentious if you tried). Such manorships can be bought and sold but were mostly valueless until a few years ago, when they began to be sold to gullible people, not infrequently foreigners, who believed they were buying something of value.
