I recall an interim report a while back last fall, blaming icing in the fuel delivery system, but at that time, testing had not been able to replicate the phenomenon.
Anybody heard more recent news about this particular flight, which lost all engine power and managed to glide almost to the beginning of the runway and hard-landed without fatalities?

Last I heard, the Sept '08 report was still the best explanation they had.
You’re probably talking about the B777 incident.
There is still no official final report on this. There have been some recommendations and if you want to read a rather large thread about it try here.
