I’m doing research for a board game that I’m planning on entering in a competition.
In relation to each other I need to know the relative value of:
-Opium
-Cotton
-Spices (pepper, cinnamon, etc.)
-Indigo dyestuffs
-Tea
In short, how would you order them.
Information on the trade value of these goods at this time period is incredibly scarce and even when I can find it, it’s simply the total made which doesn’t really help me determine value.
I was hoping someone out there would have some background on this topic giving them more insight than I have.
