British TV series with the most eye candy?

“Hollyoaks” a kind of soap-lite (set in Chester) had a load of awesome totty when it was first on (about 1995 - 2000). Well worth a look at the time hubba hubba :stuck_out_tongue:

True.
…And if there Had to be a remake?

Kate Beckinsale as Mrs. Peel…ftw.

Poldark.

I stopped in my tracks when I saw Aidan Turner in the fields, shirtless. I’m used to seeing exceptional so I’m not easily impressed … but he is breathtaking.

I hope this series goes on forever.

Ross and Demelza’s kids will have scarily sharp cheekbones.

:)!

FWIU, he simply didn’t want to continue in the series any longer. They weren’t even sure he’d be back for the second season.

You gotta wonder about the high rate of CDI turnover on that island, though… :smack:

Benedict Cumberbatch’s mum, Wanda Ventham, played the really rather attractive Colonel Virginia Lake in that.

Please, no spoilers, as I am furiously adding these to my queue. Please give me shows with goodlooking men, I could really not care less about the women. But a sharp dressed goodlooking English man will light my fire every time.

Poldark unfortunately is not available on DVD or instant on Netflix yet. I have added Avengers, Silent Witness, Jewel in the Crown, and Death in Paradise. More?

My cousin Zoe played the character ‘Zoe’ in that a few years ago, and now writes for it. It is unfortunately a terrible programme, from the glimpses I’ve endured.

What is totty? I had to google this to discover it was not for me (refers to a girl).

“Please, Wallace, call me ‘Totty’”:

OH MY GOD. Was there a double meaning in that movie? When she said “call me totty” was she saying call me “hotty”?

I love that movie but I never caught that. British people are so cute!

The Robin Hood series from a few years ago is not terribly good, but does have some very fine looking men. It was on Netflix recently, I’m not sure if it still is.

The Saint? The Persuaders? Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased)? Danger: UXB? Foyle’s War? :dubious:

If you don’t mind your favourite characters killed off every other season, Spooks had a fair bit of eye candy with Matthew Macfadyn, David Oyelowo, Rupert Penry Jones and Richard Armitage.

Sorry wrong eye candy. Wasn’t paying attention to the OP. The girls in Spooks were pretty hot too!

Ah, but Anaamika, at least, isn’t interested in totty!

Well, Death in Paradise is British-French co-production, so that up the ratio of good-looking people right there.

Torchwood, Eve. Er, Gwen.
Torchwood, Eve. Er, Gwen.

Sorry, sorry - I know the OP said “series with the most eye candy.” I’ll get hold of myself shortly and come up with something els

Torchwood, Eve.
ETA: Er, Gwen.

+1 Diana Rigg was brought in specifically to appeal to male viewers, or what marketing jargon at the time called “M” appeal.

(I probably learned that here.)
