Hopefully someone will know something about this…because I’m confused. I have a BRK smoke/carbon monoxide detector that has been checked within the last 6 months by a maintenance man. It works, I know this because when I burn cookies in the oven it goes off. Now it’s blinking red and green with no alarm/sound after I turned on the furnace. Not sure if I should be concerned about it or not.

I had a look through one of the manuals for a combination smoke / CO detectors and didn’t find any mention of lights blinking without an accompanying chirp. I did find this phone number, which should be able to help you:
