Ok I don’t believe that Mr Myers got snuffed out becaues his invention was too good. In addition, I do know that it takes more energy to produce Browns gas or hydrogen than it will deliver upon combustion. But!!! I have seen the addition of the gas that was generated under the hood of a truck produce measureable improvement in the fuel consumtpion of the same vehicle., I was not convinced when we began and so was the owner of the truck. he was having very high fuel cost that was going to seriously affect his buisness so he was trying any idea. first, better driving habits got him to 14 mpg from 12. then he built an electrolizer from scrap materials and when he could produce 1.5 liters per minute he installed it and drove it every day on the job. he noticed a mileage of about 16.5. then he took the truck to Florida pulling a 10,000 trailer. He filled up and started towards florida from Dallas. the gas mileage seemsd high so he stopped to fill up and discovered a wire was broken and the machine was off line. we fixed it and took off again. the milage was 14 when we filled up. The rest of the trip and return home we recorded 19 mpg with the load. Again, when I see something with my own eyes and you say it is a scam. hmmm have you tried it or are you doing your evaluation academically? I sell nothing I promote nothing to do with this technology, and do not plan to but I am building me a unit and will install it on an old 60’s truck and see if i can get better mileage and cleaner exhaust. I hope you will be open enough to at least try to investigate this. By the way old stationary engines used to supliment with aluminum scraps in (I think it was) sodium hydroxide and the hydrogen produced and run into the intake which allowed the engine to run leaner and smoother. Just would like to see more investigation.
Y’know, I ain’t CLOSE to being a SOBER engineer, but is there a rule against appropriate punctuation among the Alternative Energy community? Because, honest, grammar works in both engineering AND crackpot ideas.
Welcome to the SDMB, guy.
