Buck the documentary - Anyone else seen it?

I went to see the movie Buck last weekend and loved it (no surprise there). Here’s an NPR review. It’s rated 86 on Rotten Tomatoes by critics, and 92 by audiences.

Buck Brannaman is a cowboy who gives horsemanship clinics. He was the inspiration for the book “The Horse Whisperer”. The movie is beautifully filmed and I think most people, even those who aren’t horse lovers, would like the movie.

I’m curious if any other Dopers have seen it, and their thoughts.

I’m guessing not, then. I’d recommend it, if comes to your area.

No I haven’t seen it, I’ll have to wait until it arrives on DVD over here (if it ever does), posters were umming and ahhing about it on an equestrian MB, but I can’t remember which one…

Lobelia Overhill - Do you go to the Chronicle of the Horse mb?

StG

yes I do, I don’t think that was the board in question though

I would really, really, REALLY love to see this… no surprise there, either… but it evidently is not going to show here. :frowning:

It’s not going to show here in WV, which doesn’t surprise me at all. Guess it’s going on my DVD list.

PapSett - It’s showing in Indy - how far is that from you?

I wonder if the Independant Film Channel will show it?
