Is there any sign Congress will resolve the issue & pass a budget?
Food stamps (i.e. Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program or SNAP) are funded. However, an additional allotment that was provided during the pandemic is set to expire at the end of February. Congress decided not to extend this additional assistance beyond February in the federal budget they passed in December, which funds the government through September 30. The decision has already been made and there is very little chance of Congress revisiting the issue.
