I’m interested in custom building a free-standing greenhouse that will also have a shower built in. I’ve explored kits, plans, 100% custom builds. There seems to be a lot of information about regular greenhouses and things like solar sheds out there in the world, but not much information on what might work best if I wanted to include a shower inside. Anyone have experience building such a thing? Any recommendations for resources, or suggestions on having one solid wall, versus multiple solid walls, ceiling types, polycarbonate panels?
Mods: Not sure if this is best suited for IMHO or General Questions, so feel free to move.
Only an issue if said audience members are willing to drive several hours into the mountains to the isolated parcel of land where this will be located.
Greenhouses have to be able to handle moisture, don’t they? So any greenhouse should work. I would think the greenhouse and shower could be basically independently installed. If you got a free-standing pool shower, like here (click Catalog to get a PDF catalog), it wouldn’t have to attach to any part of the greenhouse.
Thanks for the link. That looks like a great place for sourcing the shower end of things.
You should be able to go to a hardware store and find a fitting that will allow you to attach one of those shower massager things to a garden house. There are also garden hose sprayers that are no different from a shower head. I don’t see the need for much more in a green house. If it’s a dirt floor, just spread a patch of pebbles or some pressure treated boards to stand on.
Sure. FYI, I have no knowledge of their quality, it was just one of the first links that came up when I googled, and showed a variety of styles.
