massive music festival, 4 days of bliss this year with a fantastic line up. takes place at Seattle center.
the big names I want to catch are Garbae and Elvis Costello. smaller but still should be great to see are Citizen Cope, Mavis Staples, Bo Diddly, John Butler Trio, the Posies, to many to list.
anyone else from the SD going? and who do you wanna see?

Personally I like the Many Mores.
I tend to favor female vocalists/musicians, and if I were there, I’d make a special effort to see The Tiptons Sax Quartet, mainly because of Amy Denio. They’re a lot of fun:
I’ve heard good things about The Be Good Tanyas and Brazilian Girls, but I haven’t heard them.
I’ve seen Samite and he’s very good.
I’d go way out of my way to see Meredith Monk! She’s a force of nature live and something you’ll almost certainly never forget.
I’d definitely go see Tegan and Sara and Keren Ann, though I couldn’t because they’re on at the same time, at different venues. Man, I hate that.
Trying to navigate to some of these unknown 9to me) artist’s web sites to sample their music is a nightmare. To hell with them if they don’t care enough about their fans/potential fans enough to have a decent, Accessible web site. Juana Molina and Tift Merrett seem like they might be cool, but I’m so turned off by their horrid, hostile Inaccesible web sites that I may never listen to them.
