I wonder why he would have left the eagle statuette from his dead son’s grave in a partially trashed house? Somewhere someone(s) ain’t coming clean.
Yeah. Sorry about that.
Wow. That story is disgusting. I wonder if **Rachellelogram **also thinks it’s right no one was charged with anything there.
Welp, arrests have been made. Six people, 17-21.
They’re saying that the “ringleader” was a homeless teen that Holloway’s family had let stay with them at some point.
Huh.
Only one of the six who were arrested is a minor.
Yeah I wonder if they didn’t even bother going after everyone they found who was under age?
The 17-year-old is the one who stole the eagle statue. Being that she took a photo of herself leaving with it, and either admitted to stealing it when she returned it or someone admitted it for her, I guess the cops couldn’t turn a blind eye to her.
[Interesting update on this story today.](» What Happened at Brian Holloway’s House?) While the kids did do some damage to the house, which is repugnant, the house was already in bad shape and the partygoers were responsible for maybe one graffiti tag; the rest was already there. Holloway failed to mention any of the existing damage, which is extensive. He also hasn’t said what he is going to do with the money he’s raised. I suppose the worst case scenario, depending on how much he made, is that he’ll buy back the house back from the bank and then have to make a few repairs because of the party and some other repairs that would have been necessary anyway. A local construction worker said the house is in such bad shape that a buyer might just tear the whole thing down. In the best case scenario a guy who was wrong used the situation for self-aggrandizement and just fudged the truth here and there.
He sounds like a nut in this story, too.
No one put words in your mouth. You need to learn both how to understand the post you were responding to and to actually think about the implications of what you say.
Because the clear interpretation of what you said is that, since other teens do stupid things, these kids should be excused. If you wanted to qualify that remark, you should have, well, actually qualified that remark.
Don’t speak in absolutes if you don’t want people to take it as an absolute.
