I got the toy available this week. It’s a gyroscopic top of Chewie. You pull the torso off the feet to expose the flywheel thingy. It actually took me a couple of minutes to figure out what I was supposed to do with the damn thing… hey, it’s been awhile since I played with tops on the kitchen linoleum!
Chewie’s kinda cool, esp. when he’s spinning around really fast (even though this is really more appropriate for Emperor Palpatine, given the move he busted out with against Mace Windu). Anyway, I would like to know if the upcoming toys (Stormtrooper, R2D2, and Darth Vader) are the same kind of top, or are they all different types of toys?
It occurred to me that a better thing to do for the Chewie character would be to revive those farm animal noisemaker cans, only with a Wookie roar and Chewie/Wookies on Kashyyk graphics, natch. How cool would that be?
Oh, and have any of you gotten one of the holographic watches yet?
