Burma's Trying to Get Nuke Technology from N Korea

Tales of Burma’s nuclear ambitions have increasingly poped up over the past couple of years. One of the latest ones is Myanmar’s Nuclear Bombshell.

It doesn’t seem to garner the attention that North Korea or Iran does, as this story points out. Fortunately, they’re a long way from achieving this goal.

Burma and Thailand have been traditional archenemies for centuries, but the two get along okay now, so I wouldn’t say Thailand would necessarily be in immediate danger. But the Burmese junta is just as crazy as Kim Jong-il without being quite so publicly zany, so this is slipping below a lot of people’s radars. A nuclear-armed Burma would not be a good thing. It’s good that they’re still far from success in this, but it’s scary that they’re even trying.

The Institute of Defence Studies and Analyses speculates on a North Korea/China/Burma axis. :frowning:

And more North Korean rockets have been set up in Burma. In the northern, eastern and central parts of the country. What do they ened these for?
