Burning ethanol leads to higher ozone?

I’m immediately inclined to disbelieve just given that it’s a Fox news story, but I’d like some good hard information:

I did hear that also from a non-fox source, though I don’t know where. I really don’t see why it would be hard to believe that ethanol has some side effects, actually we know of some of them - higher food prices.

AP story. It may not be as dire as some claim, but it’s legit.

When the AP can find someone from the Natural Resources Defense Council who doesn’t buy the study, it makes one wonder how serious Fox News was at taking a real look at the issue.
