All over the news today. GWB stated that a victory for a Democratic party candidate is a victory for terrorism.

Umm, Mr President? A democratic and fairly run election being held- no matter who wins- means that the Terrorists have lost.

This Intel seems to show the opposite- if the Dem’s win, al-Qaeda becomes unhappy. :eek:

Next week he’ll say he never said it. But it’s nice of Bush to come forward and speak this crap himself, instead of having Cheney do it. I wonder if Republican candidates wish he’d shut up.

Democrats have policies for Iraq, but not a plan. The policy, of course, is abject surrender and turning over our daughters for virgin squads to reward jihadist terrorists.

The trouble is when he spouts crap like that, the only ones who don’t roll their eyes in disgust are the ones whose votes he could already count on. As long as he has a foot, he has a target to shoot.

Depends on your definition of “work”. He’s going to lose one House in Congress, at least. No guarantees on two.

This is 100% rally the base rhetoric. Rove is really afraid that the base is demoralized and will not pour out to vote like they did in '04. Kerry thought he’d win if he could just get enough people out to vote. He met his goals, but Bush got even more people out. Things are quite different this time.

I’m shocked, shocked, I tell you, to discover that Democrats apparently want the the US to be defeated by terrorists. I know they don’t have in any sort of platform statement, but that’s just what I’d expect from those lying liars anyway. Thank our Lord God that we have Mr. Bush around to expose these traitors. Sadly, you are exactly right. There’s waay too much of the Old West mentality left in the US and when that’s combined with the large segment of religious nuts in the poulation who live The Truth – as in “eye for an eye” – of the OT, you have…well, you have what you have now.
