Bush Failed Us On 9/11 !!!

Glad to hear that, though I’m slightly annoyed by the bit that goes, “the interview might go beyond the one-hour limit originally offered to the panel.” I mean, geez, if it was me, I’d give them all the time they wanted, as long as I had periodic bathroom breaks, y’know?

If he can take the time to chill around on his ranch in Crawford, a day with Congress can’t be that bad. And it isn’t as if the panel couldn’t be interrupted if something really big happens.

Damage Control! Were you taking lessons from Karl? What a despicable metamorphosis! Ugh…

It’s a living…

Fact: Bush spent 6 months trying to prevent any investigation.
Fact: Bush limited funding and time allotment for the commission
Fact: Bush wanted Kissinger as the chairperson…egad.
Fact: Bush and co. KNEW that hijacked commercial planes were likely to be used as weapons bu terrorists
Fact: Condy lied the day after the attacks, and pretende to be totally suprised by the possiblity of planes being used as weapons.
Fact: Bush did not want to extend the time for the investigation another 3 months.
Fact: Bush finally relente after much pressure and allowed TWO months - for the most vital investigation in recent history.
Fact: Bush and Cheney are refusing to testify under oath before the commission. They have offered to answer questions for ONE HOUR, only asked in private in front of the chairman.
Fact: Condy refuses to testify under oath or in public.
Fact: Clinton and Gore will testify under oath in public before the entire commission.
Fact: Richard Perle wrote in the PNAC treaty that what was needed to implement their plans for military domination of the ME was 'a catastrophe like another Pearl Harbor." Coincidence? Maybe…

Bottom line. Until there is a real investigation…and until Bush and Cheney and Condi agree to testify under oath, I won’t believe a freaking word they say.

Dear god, take some design courses. My dog could design a better flier. Is it a garage sale or a political statement?

Ann Coulter, the Queen of Clubs? I should have thought the Queen of Hearts more apt, given all the conservatives she has drooling over her photos and such…

Kidding, kidding!

The Democrats undoubtedly miscalculated. When 9/11 happened, they very deliberately got together and said “we shouldn’t make political hay out of this: the country doesn’t need it, and it might make us look bad.” But Bush took no such hiatus, and the Dems got creamed for it. They should never bother being so charitable again: they litterally threw away a chance to “frame” the issue of 9/11 so that Bush couldn’t make hay out of it: and got their asses handed to them. That’s politics: dirty, dirty dirty.

However, it does look like the public is not going to give Bush free reign to play on 9/11 imagery, so we may not have to be subjected to as much of it during this season as we thought:
