Bush 'fool me once' daily show clip – where?

Anyone who has seen the full Daily Show clip of Bush’s “Fool me once, shame… shame on you… fool me twice… … … won’t get fooled again” knows the need to share it with others. But though I can find the original tape of Bush and I can find a snippet of the clip (just the DC correspondent showing the Bush family pillows) I can’t find the whole thing – from the introduction through to the Afghani correspondent’s request to see it again. Is it cached anywhere? Mirrored? I’ve Googled my fingers to the bone, but no luck. There are some friends who need to see this, if only to understand why some of us break into hysterics when we talk about it.

Anyone?

Thanks!

Try a little P2P file sharing program. It’s on there. I would tell you the name of the program but we can’t talk about kazaa on here.

Thanks; any suggestion of search terms?

bush video will pull it.

Thanks, found a couple versions, but still can’t find the whole clip. One was just audio, another was just the introduction and the quote. What makes the bit so funny is the other reporters checking in – justifying it/ asking to see it again. Durrnit… will have to keep looking.

Along with many other things.

I’d find it for you, but I’m at work and would be way too tempted to watch all of those clips. But I did find it myself at Comedy Central’s Daily Show website. They have a whole load of great clips. That one in particular is hilarious.

Thanks Kyla – but the only clip I’ve found on the Comedy Central website is the Whitehouse correspondent’s reaction. Not the initial setup, the original quote, or the Afghani reporter chiming in. Not that I’m complaining, mind you, free comedy is free comedy and the abridged clip is funny. But as a whole bit, it is exponentially funnier. Any other suggestions?

Thanks,

It’s vanished, but when Comedy Central was serving the clip it was at:

So looking for “7034_headline_300.rm” on the p2p’s may yield results for you.
