Bush robbed ?

The watch wasn’t stolen, it was liberated.

I guess I should be happy but when I saw it I thought he was probably as mad as I would be if someone stole my watch but then I don’t wear one any way. Oh well. Hopefully it’s the thought that counts. He’s not a good president anyway come to think of it. If you can’t say something nice. I’m sure he’s good at something.

It was a $50 Rolex. He’s the President. Even if it was stolen, couldn’t he easily replace it?

I was more worried this was going to cause some dust-up with Albania…

I think the watch was dropped on the grassy knoll and this all is just a cover-up.

If it’s a $50 Rolex, he can get a new one in the park across the street from the White House.

Is there such a thing as a (real) $50 Rolex?

Maybe it was a real $50 Rolodex. I’m pretty sure on his other wrist I saw a stapler.

Somebody there mentioned NBC playing a clip from another angle but I can’t find it on their website or Youtube. Is that video floating around anywhere? I feel that this is a very pendulous issue and we need to clock it once and for all.

Now you guys are just winding each other up.

Failure. Bush is the Terminator of failure; “That’s what it does ! That’s ALL it does !”

[QUOTE=chowder]
Well if it was nicked it’ll be on ebay anytime now.

“Watch, almost new, nicked off Prez. Genuine article, offers over £10m”

Buyer pays postage

Someone on BBC World News this morning cracked that Tirana street vendors will be selling “Bush’s watch” for years to come.

Sure, but it’s spelled with two L’s.
