Bush to search for own head this weekend.

[QUOTE=ElvisL1ves]
I don’t see any evidence that he cares about history’s judgments, only his version of God’s. He’s absolutely convinced he’s morally right about everything he does, and doing the Lord’s work to fight Evil, and those who don’t understand that are simply not anointed as he has been. His remaining lifespan won’t have any effect on that - it he isn’t suffering from self-doubt now, he never will.

Being human, he’s got to have some interest after leaving office as to how he is remembered by his countrymen. He can say that he will be vindicated in a century, but it still isn’t going to sit well with him if he is reviled for the next 25 years, as well he might.

To me personally? Nothing. However, I think that threads like this are in poor taste. Sure, it’s the Pit and one can say whatever one wants to say. She’s also got a history of pitting Bush just for the sake of pitting him, which I think is lame. There are so many other things he could be taken to task for, but getting a colonoscopy isn’t one of them. It’s pathetic, partisan, and lowers the level of discourse.

Please link to all of the threads where I pitted Bush ‘for the sake of pitting Bush’ and not because he did something that made me angry. You know, to show this history of mine. It seems as if you are trying to tell me that my anger at this administration and, particularly Bush, is some sort of pathetic thing that I’ve made up, when this administration has earned every ounce of my moral and quite real outrage.

Go ahead, Lord, show everybody my ‘history’.
