Businesses that accept deliveries

You guys must not buy alcohol on line very often. I get wine delivered regularly and one of the problems with that is the driver is supposed to check ID on delivery for it to be legal at all, so if you work a shift that means you can’t be home when it is delivered you can’t receive it at home. If you don’t work in a place that lets you receive deliveries at work, you’re screwed there too (luckily I work for myself so I always have my wine delivered to the office.)

Finally, even if you work in a place that lets you receive deliveries a lot of corporate HR policies actually have rules saying you can’t have alcohol on the premises so it wouldn’t be super easy to receive it at work in such a scenario.

pkbites said that he/she reported the OP.

The OP didn’t say no one was home. He said it couldn’t be delivered to his house. Did you ever have teenagers? Were you ever one?

This could easily be cleared up if ColdMustard would come back here and give us just a little more detail. It’s been almost 38 hours now.

Ever since Google started to crawl the message board, we’ve been getting a lot of this; either threads started by a new posters who never return, or years-old threads reopened by new posters, again who never return.

Lots of new users see the board as more of a “Yahoo Answers” type website. They ask a question, get an answer, that’s it. They don’t know that people have conversations here.

It’s fairly obvious what’s happened. The “friend” is of course himself. In a bid to save the bus fare, he’s posted himself home. This explains why he couldn’t post himself to his home address or place of work; he isn’t going to be there to pick himself up. :smack:

We do?
