I’m not sure what’s going on here with consumers and ads. If I need something (or want) I go with how well it fits my needs, price, past experience and availability. If a commercial influences whether you do or dont buy something…in some way you’ve been manipulated by that commercial.

That sounds so snotty i think I’ll just sign this…

Another, possibly related, thing I’ve been noticing for a while now is the “double-hit” ad: two complete half-length commercials in the same timeslot. One is bad enough, but two in a row irritates the hell out of me.

Or maybe I’m just cranky.
