The most common is probably the Prince Albert, supposedly named for THE Prince Albert. It consists of a ring going through the pee-hole and coimng out on the underside. This causes a mess when peeing and precludes urinal useage. There’s also several types of rods and barbells (basically a rod with spherical doohickeys on the ends) that are used to pierce the shaft and/or scrotum. In addition, there’s a piercing so gruesome that I can’t even describe it- If you really want to see it, it’s at Rotten.com under FotM.
I know nothing about their effect on erectile function and pleasure/pain (aside from the obvious pain). Better (although typically very biased) sources would be a piercing website and urologist.
I have a married friend who swore to me that he had eight piercings in his penis. I didn’t believe him, and, to make a long story short, one night after a few beers, he elected to show me. Well, sure enough, he counted them off for me - eight of them. They were all along the underside of his penis, through the outer skin, and looked like a series of little barbells. He swore they didn’t hurt, didn’t interfere with his ability to get an erection, have intercourse, or otherwise enjoy himself, alone or otherwise. He told me that sometimes during sex he chose to take them out, and sometimes he didn’t. His wife apparently enjoys them. I can’t imagine doing it, but each to his own.
Pierced is one thing, but the “pieced” penis? Yikes!!!

OK i’ve been discovered.
I’m not talking about skin piercings, though, P.A. aside. I heard about one as a curved barbell through the top of the head, which made me go, ‘OW’.
