Has anyone besides me ever heard of eucapnic breathing? It’s apparently a special method of training people to breathe, used in treating asthma. It was invented by a Russian named Buteyko. He was either a genius or a crackpot (or both), and claimed a super-high success rate in reducing the number of attacks asthmatics have.
I haven’t been able to identify anyone in the U.S. who knows anything about this method. Since I’m asthmatic and hate taking drugs for it, this prospect is obviously of great interest to me. Any concrete info you can provide on effectiveness or practitioners would be great.
