Having seen my mother’s reaction to being intubated without sedation on one occasion (she was one of those redheads that apparently process anesthetic WAY faster than normal - she also once woke up during the middle of surgery, too) I’m not sure if I’d want to be awake for the experience. Yeah, fighting it is a really common reaction.

I think my favorite part of this is that everyone is just pointing and laughing now, since there’s not much he can do before he’s out of there. Some of his tweets used to cause agita, because they could be stripping rights from LGBTQ or doing something awful to immigrants or who knows. Now, he’s just crying into the void and people are laughing at him.
