DAMN!
I’m not quite sure how I did this.
I’m over at ebay digging around looking for studio speakers. I found a pair of the monitors I’m using now with really low bids on them. I figure I’ll bid 20 bucks just in case no one else bids.
So I click “bid” and I’m transfered to a login page. I log in.
The next page says “You purchased the item using Buy It Now!”
$200 plus $20 in shipping.
What? Wait! No I didn’t! I was just bidding 20 bucks.
So I send the guy an email asking to cancel the bid. Of course, the guy might be an ass and NOT cancel. I’ll even pay him the few bucks for listing/selling if he wants it. It was my mistake after all.
This really sucks because he might be an ass and leave me bad feedback. I’m about to put some vintage electronic gear next week -which I’m hoping fetches some good bids. The last thing I want right now is my 100% rating screwed up by this simple mistake.
SHIT MAN!
They really need a verify screen before proceeding to “buy it now”
