Buying tickets

So it’s been a while since I bought tickets to, what I assume, will be a sold-out concert - in this case AC/DC coming to Ottawa this summer. Tickets are on sale on Friday, and, like I said, I assume will go quickly. We’re in a bit of a unique situation here since the owner of the venue has their own ticket selling service, ie not ticketmaster, but I figure I’d ask for any tips on ensuring we get good seats, and get them together…

Anyone? I have a group of as many as 12 planning on going - I hear anythin gfrom a limit of 4 per person to 8. do people still line up at counters for this sort of thing? All Sports Experts in the area sell, there’s online as an option (not so much as I cannot access from work), or the phone (don’t trust this - tried when U2 came with no luck…).

I have bought tickets online a number of time from CapitalTickets for events at the Scotia Bank Place, it was not a big deal. The website shows the AD/DC concert going on sale at 10:00 am on Fri. (tomorrow), just be sure to be logged in, online and ready at that time.

Create yourself an account ahead of time, it will make the buying process easier and faster.

The site does specify that you can ONLY order a maximum number of 8 tickets.

I’ve always bought only two tickets, so, I do not know if you buy more, will they be all together, I would assume so, but it could affect how good the seats are.

Also, for the Tim McGraw / Faith Hill tour, I could not be at a computer at the time, but amazingly, I was still able to get thru from my cell phone and get tickets, of course, I’ll never know if I could have had better (or worse) online.

Good luck!
