There may have been posters with really good rubber bands tied around their middles that managed to bounce back twice after a couple of bannings – but I think twice is th’ limit.
SmileyDeath – in order not to piss off the admins around here, send them an email asking about bannings rather than starting up a thread to get the theories/actualities on what happened. They prefer stuff like this to be handled off the board.

That said, the mods and admins really do prefer stuff about why a person was banned to be handled off the board. Just a heads-up.

Yes. Twice. Michael Masterson was banned, then allowed back and banned again. What you may be asking is who has had the most screen names registered and banned. And trying to answer this invariably pays too much service to the owner of this dubious dishonor, so let’s just say it’s someone who needs to re-examine his or her priorities.

punha, was the MM screen-name banned twice? I remember his last banning, and it wasn’t under the MM screen-name - it was my understanding that when he was allowed back the last time the admins suggested a change of user-name so he didn’t become a magnet for posters wanting to provoke him.
Indeed, reprise, that is also my understanding of the situation, though I think part of the reason for the name-change was to limit the amount of projectile vomiting some of the mods and other members might engage in upon seeing his name.
And then there are the people who seem to think that coming back under a new name will somehow mask who they are.
Why are they allowed to stay if their IP is visible? It should be obvous then.
