C.G. Jung on religion. Where can I find more?

I read somewhere that C.G. Jung considered religion to fill a vital need in our life and that Christianity was unable to fill that need. I think it was something to do with the fact that it divides good and evil unto two separate entities (God and the Devil) or it was because there was no longer any room for mystery in Christianity.

Anyway, does anyone know what need religion fill according to Jung and why didn’t he think Christianity was up to the task?

I stumbled across this when I was looking for his reply when someone asked him if he believed in god or not?

C.G. Jung: ”I believe I have a need to believe in god…”

Just read his “Memories, Dreams, Reflections”

It’s all there.

Including the part of the dream about him taking a dump on the church…

There’s also a famous interview with him, right before he died, where the interviewer asked him a handful of questions on religion. Should be easy to set your hands on it through a local library.
