Just happened to notice that at least one sticky has his name on it. Has anyone heard from him since he decided to take the jackboots off?
I only spoke with him not long afterwards. He gave me some things to post because he knew he wasn’t going to be around. We talked a bit more, but I haven’t heard from him since. I also wonder if anyone else is still in contact.
I miss the guy. He was one of those names that represented the Dope to me when I first joined, practically an institution, which is why it was such a jolt when he left. Wherever he is I wish him well.
I talk to him occasionally. Dex would much rather play with the grandbabies than hang with us. Last I heard he and Mrs. Dexter Haven were fine.
We tried to make the coup as bloodless as possible.
