This is only the 2nd pack of wolves spotted in CA since their extinction in the state almost 100 years ago. We got wolves!!!

There will undoubtedly be a “Three Grey Wolf Pups” extreme IPA. You know someone is working on it.
I just racked it into secondary fermentation and dry-hopped the shit out of it!

Well, I think this is pretty dang cool. Wolves, finally back in California. Maybe we get some “grizzer bahr” next! It’s also pretty well understood that apex predators, like wolves, are really good for the ecosystem, and you don’t even need that many of them. They are, after all, hungry like the wolf! Should we name the Alpha Female “Rio”? Kinda masculine, but hey.

Yep. Killing deer is one the reasons we want wolves in the first place! I have no doubt we can manage to keep raising livestock and coexist with a few wolves.
That would be dire wolves, not just ordinary gray wolves.
