On a final note, I’ll be outta town the next four days so if our round robin moves as quickly as it has been, don’t get nervous if it takes a while for my entry. (I’m goin’ out of town on business and I’m gonna haveta work, I won’t have much net time while I’m away.)

Group A—How dark! You guys are really capturing the mood of that day.
Group B—Heh. Great start, Crunchy. I can’t wait to see who answered the door.
Group C—I agree with Yondan. I am definitely seeing this one as a movie. Very visual. (What could be more stable than a government worker? Hee hee!)
Group D—Well, to restate the common sentiment: WOW, bella! I’m excited about my turn! Come on guys! And I’m not too worried about the third person, either. We’ll see how it goes with the other posters, but there’s no rule against switching voices or introducing new characters if someone wants to and can make it work.
I just have to say, these stories are kicking butt. I’m excited to be part of Crunchy’s group because his start reminded me of the beginning of “Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency”. Did anyone else get that black humor vibe, or am I going to mess the story up?
All the stories so far are keeping me interested. The only sad thing is how fast they drop. But saffostar, a big hip hip to you for linking to the original thread in your sig line…simple, yet brilliant.

Ferrous–that’s what I was thinking too…It might be interesting to go at it from multiple POV’s. I have such a concrete idea of what happens next and I’m anxious for Lorna to get in here and blow it to smithereens!
