Wow, if you write my screenname your way I’m more than 30 years older… I think I ought to have mentioned before that I do not make lists for the whole story… at least not all at once. Though I do end up with a huge stack of tiny lists by the end, I only have lists of 3-15ish notes to work with at a time, for either missing scenes or to make a layout for the next 1 to 4 scenes. Once that particular section is written I start all over again if I think I’m going to forget something I’ve thought of I can’t work on right then and there (somehow most notes are written at work.) I imagine making a list of 300 or more notes all at once would be rather daunting.
