Calories, fat calories, fat grams?

Should one be more concerned about calories, calories from fat, or grams of fat, in their diets? Thanks for your help.

Fat grams equate to calories! It’s just less than 10 calories per gram of fat. The recommendation is that fat calories should make up no more than 30% of your total calories. To keep the math simple, you can push it up to say 1/3 your total calories. Thus, if a snack has 300 calories with 150 from fat, that’s more than 1/3 from fat!
