Camera/lens compatibility

I don’t think you will be disappointed with the D90. I bought one myself a few months ago and it works great. The 18-200 is a great all-round lens and useful as a one-lens solution when traveling. There are some trade-offs of course, but it’s very versatile if you don’t like lugging around several lenses.

I keep my 18-200 on my D90 all the time. I’ve never been disappointed with it’s performance. I also have a Sigma 10-20 and a Nikon 80-400mm VR. I use the Sigma frequently, but the 80-400 only rarely.

Update: I have canceled the order with Sonic. B&H is sold out of the D90/18-200, so I ordered it from Willoughby’s for about $1700. I used to buy stuff from them all the time when I lived in NYC, and have never had a bad experience.

I’ve had good luck with Beach Camera, also.

Like most of the others, Beach Camera has the D90 with the 18-105 lens, and not the 18-200.

Um, same name, different owners. The current ‘Willoughby’s’ has nothing to do with the old one on 32nd Street, the name was sold.

Reseller Ratings isn’t too crazy about them.

Update: I received the camera and lens this morning (plus lots of goodies). Everything is as ordered, and works like a charm. The D90 is an amazing camera, and I’m so glad I chose to get the new lens as well.

What? No unboxing photos?
