Campaign Question: What is your strategy on dealing with North Korea?

With mid-term elections less than a month away, the 2008 Presidential campaign is just around the corner. It’s a safe bet that any contender will be asked about his or her strategy on dealing with North Korea, especially after the recent nuclear test.

What would be the answer that you’d like to hear? Let’s assume that nothing substantial happens between now and the 2008 election.

I really don’t have any idea on the correct strategy, except that the US shouldn’t go at it alone. Good thing I’m not in the running, eh?

Unless China takes some deliberate and concrete steps with its neighbor, anything a US politician says is political bullshit.

I agree. But no matter what the future elected president actually does, there will be plenty of second guessers that will say that he or she screwed up and should’ve done so-and-so. Plus, this issue will swing votes so I’d just like to hear the most satisfying answer to voters.
