Can a sniper shoot accurately through a glass window?

Oops. I meant to say feet, not yards. Thanks for the correction/adjustment, Stranger. I think you and Padeye are probably the two most consistently correct (and thorough) guys on technical firearms questions here. Not to say that others aren’t good, too, but you two guys seem a shade better. The remainder of your post is appreciated, too.

**“Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry”? **

Now THAT will strike terror in the hearts of your enemy.

Nearest I can figger, the name must be some kind of taunting tactic. I mean can you imagine the humiliation of finding out that your entire unit has been paralyzed and decimated by a trio of poofs from “Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry”?

You dis the Pats at your own risk, or so I’ve heard because I’ve never been brave enough to try it face-to-face. I had a PPCLI instructor once. He looked like he hung out with Thor.

This is what Carnac was referring to.

Wiki cite, if my coding works

Yeah, all comedy aside, I should probably retract that one. That or make damn sure I never get within 2400 meters of a member of the PPCLI.

Nitpick, but I believe Barry Pepper was the marksman in SPR. Sizemore was Hanks’ NCO.

It will if they know anything about the PPCLI.

Canadian soldiers have excelled in Afghanistan, and the U.S. military raves about them. Our guys are very good.

Absolutely no doubt about it, but the “Princess” thing does inspire shock and awe. “Patricia” doesn’t do them a lot of favors either.

er, that should be: does NOT inspire yadda yadda yadda

See, the lads are already getting to me :::tremble:::
