If it really over produces melanin I could see how maybe somebody who was Caucasian eventually looking like George Hamilton or even an East Indian, but could they actually be mistaken for an African-American?
I’d argue yes, as a lot of people dont care about distinctions like east indian or pacific islander. They’re all black to them. I have Mediterranean roots and have been asked if I was a pacific islander, latino, asian, etc before. With a lot more melanin who knows what people would think I was. Perhaps east indian or half-black.
