I want to allow anyone who took pictures at the DFW dopefests to upload their photos without having to worry about html.
I’ve looked at Yahoo, but their description field is too short. I’ll keep that in reserve if I can’t find anything better.
You might try http://www.photopoint.com or else http://www.zing.com for this. I use photopoint, and a friend of mine uses zing.
I just re-read your post and I’m not sure if Zing will work for what you want or not. Photopoint will, however. The way photopoint works is that you email your photos in to an automated attendant that puts them in the account you set up. It uses your email address as your user name. You just tell someone who’s using their own email to put Account: Username (your username) in the subject field when they email in their photos. I hope this helps.
I’m not sure what you’re looking for exactly, but I’ve used Starphoto and they’re not bad.
Photopoint is THE BEST, and I tried a few. You just set up an account, then e-mail the pics as an attachment. Then go in and sort them into albums, add captions, etc. You can also send e-postcards from them!

That’s some pics of my new neice. Use the navigation button on the left that says “visit album”. Just choose one from the drop down list.
