I mostly wear T-shirts all summer (with daily highs this week in the 80s, it is summer as far as I am concerned) and am looking for a neck pouch that can hold my e-reader and phone. Phone is no problem, but the e-reader is a hair less than 6" wide. Amazon lists loads of neck pouches, but they resolutely refuse to say how wide they are. Even a 6" pouch is questionable since that’s the outside measurement. Any suggestions?
I think a big problem is “Amazon lists…”, as many of us find Amazon search horrible, so you need to find more specialized sites where they would list the dimensions.
I found one which is pretty expensive: $49 for 10"w x 7"h
Yeah, that’s a bit pricey, but it’s nice to know it exists.
Thanks
I bought a passport holder. A couple years ago when I flew to DC I carried my passport, and it fit perfectly in the interior pocket I’d been using for the phone. The small one’s interior pouch is just the right size for my gen 5 Kindle and I make sure I stuff them in there back-to-back so the glass is away from each other. My wallet goes in the front pocket.
I tell people mock-defensively, “This is a passport holder. And GI Joe is an action figure!”
Hari: it sounds like you have been searching for wrong term. Try crossover messenger bags:

Yes, I found a crossbody pack for under C$20 that seems perfect.
