Can anyone help translate this into Italian?

So we’ve booked a family vacation to Rome this summer (yay!). Our elder son has oral allergy syndrome and reacts to tree nuts and almonds. The OAS is so far so mild that we’re not getting paranoid, but we’d like to help him avoid the allergens, both to keep this a pleasant vacation and to avoid tempting fate. I’d like to make a small laminated card he can carry with him to show in restaurants and such. Could someone tell me how to write this sentence in Italian?

If Italian doesn’t have a commonly used word for “tree nuts”, it would also work to specify walnuts and hazelnuts, the two he reacts most to and unfortunately the two we figure we’re most likely to encounter.

Almonds are not true nuts, but our son reacts to them. Pine nuts (pignolia nuts) and peanuts are also not true nuts, and he can eat them just fine. It looks like he’ll have to be extremely careful around sweets/desserts, particularly pastries.

Yes, of course we will be carrying the appropriate medicine at all times, just in case!

*Mi scusi, io sono allergico alle mandorle, noci e nocciole. Grazie.

(Excuse me, I am allergic to almonds, walnuts, and hazelnuts. Thanks)

*I think. Don’t quote me. I don’t speak Italian. Have a nice trip.

Thank you!! Now to make up a pocket-sized card…

I would probably make a pile of 'em flodnak - business card size. That way you can hand them to the necessary people and, say you’re in a restaurant or hotel, you can write the table number or room number on it for them to refer to.
You also won’t have to worry about misplacing it, or the awkwardness of the recipient not knowing that they need to hand back to you the only card you have.
Ciao!

I’d suggest you use a site like this for printing the cards. They (presumably) get the language right, and it’s less hassle than doing it yourself.

Coming back to finish this - I went to the site Cerowyn linked to, and as 6ImpossibleThings suggested, I printed up a little pile of cards instead of making one laminated one. Thanks again!
