Can Anyone Tell What US WWII Medal I Have???

My grandfather has a medal that I am trying to identify. The ribbon looks to have been a sky blue and beige (?) and the medal itself has a bugel, a trumpet and a torch all criss crossing each other. There are stars surrounding the edge of the medal. I cannot find anything that would indicate what this is. Thank you for your time! Please email me at skweich@abnorth.com if you have an answer. Thank you!

Powder horn, actually, I think - it makes no sense that a medal has both a bugle and a trumpet on it. And it’s post WWII.

Armed Forces Reserve Medal:

Come back and read it or don’t get the answer.

And definitely not WW2. You get it for 10 years in the Reserve, and it wasn’t established as a medal until 1950.

That’s not how the SDMB works. You ask a question, read the responses, and participate in any ensuing discussion. That way everybody gets to learn something from the thread, not just you.
