It is interesting that asian camels and llamas can interbreed. These two species have been separated for millenia, and yet they are so close genetically. lllamas are said to be very intelligent animals…i wonder why camels died out in north America? Camels seem to be so adaptable-they can live in deserts and areas with extreme high and low temperaturs.
