Naw, it has to do with how much money they send in. Or whether they’ll give good sex, if they’re real attractive. Not a clique at all, anyone who pays enough (money or sex) can come back.
Chronos, it probably is who you think. You probably have more info than I do. It is likely he convinced the admins to let him come back first, perhaps with the help of another poster or two. The identity change was likely more to protect the new identity until he could establish himself as a valuable member and not carry the baggage. I know he eventually made allusions to his previous identity, just not certain of the circumstances of when and why.
I’m always amused by the folks who think there’s some sort of SDMB clique. See, the last time that it was a big issue, “everyone knew” that Satan was one of the leaders of The Clique. And look where he is now. Before that, it was Melin. Yup, she’s banned, too. Yes, there are always some who think that they’re part of some sort of “in-crowd”, but they’re only special in their own eyes, and nobody else particularly cares what they think. Most notably, the moderators and administrators don’t care at all about the so-called cliques.
Dex is not a mod but an admin. Chronos is a former mod, but it was voluntary.

OK, we’ve more or less said all that needs to be said here. And this thread is attracting an inordinate number of phony posters, losers whose only jollies are from giving moderators a few extra minutes of work each day.
Consequently, I’m closing this thread.
