Can Chiropracters call themselves physicans?

I was wondering about this? I got to a health club and at the different branches they started putting in Chiropractic offices. Now these people are referring to themselves as Physicans. Not Chiropractic Physicans. I see on their doors. Accupuncture, Chiropractic, General Medicine, Sports Medicine, Massage.

At first I thought OK maybe it was a combo practice an MD (or DO) and a Chiropracter(DC). Then I looked at their names (in MUCH smaller) letters…It says Joe Smith, DC…Chuck Jones DC…Bob Anderson DC.

So they all are chiropracters. Now since they are advertising cures for asthma, headaches, general medicine and sports medicine people may think they are doctors. Seems awful misleading. I mean the staff at the health clubs (trainers, front desk etc) all say "hey doc, how’s it going).

I’m sure it’s not illegal but it seems pretty misleading.

What state are you in? I am not aware of any jurisdiction that permits chiropracters to advertise themselves as physicians.

They’re mostly a bunch of dumbass quacks anyway.
